Notes - One source indicates that his first name might have been Passchier.
He was first a Kanonikus in Xanten and Wischel. In 1390 he was a witness at his sister Aleid's wedding to Jan van Ycem.
It is very likely that Evert van Ossenbroek was his son.
In 1420 their daughter Anna v. O. married Gose von Steenhus zu Bellinghoven.
Goswin van Steenhuys. Lord of Bellinghoven, sold the fiefdom to his brother-in-law Willem Ulst.
He married, as in the contract of 18 September 1453, Anne van Ossenbroeck, daughter of N. and Sophie van Pallant and was still alive in 1475.
Their children were:
- 1: Goswin, Captain in the service of the duke of Cleves in 1475. He, and his wife Otheline Brackel, died without any children.
- 2: Next child was Gotfried
- 3: Anne, nun in Nijmegen;
- 4: Mary, nun in Tiel, in the Duchy of Guelder
- One source indicates that his first name might have been Passchier.
