      Eize Booi, first married Edith Margaret Marie Kuiper in 1859. He sold his farm on Calumet (South of Chicago) and moved to Danforth, IL where he bought 135 acres.

      Notes:
      He was a millionaire but lost all his money. His 2nd wife Tryntje and he died a pauper. Family didn't talk much about him.

      However:
      Regarding Katherine's remark about Eize Booi being wealthy - I have never heard of it. He married a widow who may have owned farm land. He had 6 kids and she had 4 and then they had 3 more. He was Katherine's grandpa and my great grandpa and I knew her all my life.
