Caspar von Oldenbockum (also Jasper von Altenbockum or Oldenbokkum, approximately 1535 - 30 August 1565) was the Knight of the Order of the Livonian Order, commander of the Paide Order Castle in 1558-1562, Acting Officer of Järva Phoebe from 1560 to 1562 and Acting Commander of the Tallinn Bailiff from 1560-1561.
Oldenbockum originally came from the Duchy of Kleve, Rhineland. His parents were Peter von Oldenbockum and Sophia von Ossenbruck, also known as Till, and had at least four brothers. Oldenbockum entered the Order of Livonia about 1555, probably in Westfalen. At the latest in 1556, he arrived in Livonia and received a presidential pardon in the same year. In 1558 he took over the protection of the Paide castle. He succeeded in defending the fort in both this time as well as in 1560 against the prevailing Russian forces, thus reverting over Livonia and the nickname "The Last Knight of Livonia". In the years 1560-1561, Oldenbockum was also the commandant of the Order of Tallinn, who had to surrender to Sweden after the city's surrender to the castle after some limitation. In 1562, after the abolition of the Order, the Oldenbockum continued to serve as the former Livonian Ordermaster and the First Duke of Courland, Gotthard Kettler.
In 1565, Polish manors fought a rush in the hands of the Rosters in Tallinn, but retreated and gained near the Cape Castle near the village. He died a few days later in Vigala and was buried Pärnu Nikolai in the church.
