    • MR. LUITJEN OOSTENBRUG of Coaldale, Alberta was called home to be with his LORD on December 24, 1997 in his 87th year at Lethbridge Regional Hospital.
      He was born on February 19, 1911 in Lauwerzijl, the Netherlands.
      In 1952 he emigrated with his wife (Geertje Bolhuis) and children to British Columbia in Canada, where they farmed.
      He was predeceased by his first wife, Geertje Bolhuis Oostenbrug in 1988.
      He is survived by his second wife Menna Moedt Oostenbrug, and 11 children: 43 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren.
