  • Notes
    • The Wylich and Ossenbruch families had married each other several times over the previous centuries.
We have not (yet) been able to identify where this Anna fits in.
N.B. At that time Anna had to be of nobility to marry a Wylich, and visa versa.
Their son Willem's (and wife's) tombstone in the Sint-Jan's cathedral in 's-Hertogenbosch shows both their noble coat of arms.
However, the description of the Ossenbrugge coat of arms on Willem's tomb in 's-Hertogenbosch does not show an oxen head, but three oak leaves.
Much more about all the above here: https://vanosnabrugge.org/tomb-WillemWilich.htm

Is the above Anna the same as this Anna?

On 13 Sep 1642 a Anna Osenbrugge married Theodorus Havenbergius at Borculo.
Witnesses were Johan Haeke from Wesel and Rutger Segers from Santen (Xanten, south of Cleves).
Theodorus was born in Wesel in 1587. Went to Borculo in 1619 as the new "predikant". Retired in 1666.
He might have been a friend of Judocus Wylich. Both came from Wesel and are about the same age.
