Notes - JAN PERSYN, son of Claas Persijn, Knight, Lord of Waterland, mentioned in the treaty of Duke Willem of Bavaria, Count of Holland, with his of the Cod party of 1351, against the Hooks; In a certain letter by the afore mentioned Duke Willem he was called van Velsen, married Jutte van Brederode, daughter of Diderik van Brederode, also named the Lenient, and of Maria van der Leek, Hendrik's daughter; she died in 1347; he in 1354.
